LS1 into 2nd gen T/A

LS1 into 2nd gen T/A I was just watching Smokey and the Bandit, and got to thinking, what if that T/A had a LS1/T56 combo in it? It would be a hell of a lot faster than in the movie. Also, what was the best looking 2nd gen T/A?
Re: LS1 into 2nd gen T/A I love that movie. An LS1 would certainly make that car a lot faster. My personal favorite 2nd gen is the '70 Formula. I don't like 2nd gen Camaros that much but early 70's Firebirds are sweet.
