Default Retro computer harness swap?

A question or an idea. Has any one here ever thought about using the LS1 computer and all of its electrical equipment on another older engine. Since it's a coil per cylinder the firing order would be no problem. Also the price is right for the equipment. One of my 928's computers is 1200. Or what about a fuel injected 455HO, that'ld be nice.

i was thinking of this the other day when my friend was complaining about his optispark problems on his lt1.

Im sure it could be done, and a motor like the LT1 probaly has all the necessary sensors.

Now its not something i plan on acutally doing anytime soon, but i have thought of it.

Ryan.

You would need some way of hooking up the reluctor ring on the crank and another for the cam. I think it would be pretty hard
