Default 03 LS6 into 96 Suburban

I just picked up a 1996 Suburban LS for cheap that is in excellent condition but has 173,000 miles on it.It is the cleanest high mile ride I have ever seen.A 55 yr old woman bought it new and took great care of it,inside and out and was a non smoker.

I have a complete 6,000 mile LS6 that could find a new home in the burban if the swap isn't ungodly difficult or expensive.

Has anyone done a gen3 swap into a C/K style rig?If so what did it take to get it done. The new motor would get H/C before it went in the truck.

The cooling system should be fine,I'll use stock C5 exhaust manifolds with a custom exhaust.

I think the puter will be the real challenge, just thinking out loud here.

Any input would be appreciated.

pretty sure youd need a tranny adapter too, th elsx motors and old scholl chevy are different. computer is easy just expensive, some companies can make you the harness with just what you need too and eliminate the other stuff in it
