Lt1 to LS1 conversion
Lt1 to LS1 conversion I did a search and could not come up with anything so here goes: I am swapping in a 2001 Ls1 out of a vette to a 1993 Lt1 camaro These are my questions:
- Will the vette engine & A4 harness be able to be used in my car with a 1999 6-spd pcm? I used the A4 harness in my LT1 to 6-spd conversion so I was wondering if that strategy will work with the LS1.
- Do I need the ALDL connector under the dash to get it flashed?
- For the gauges I was going to use the stock LT1 pcm and mount the sensors in the LS1 to keep my sanity of a converting nightmare
- The only wiring issue I can see is that The a/c compressor clutch turn on and idle adjustment when it is on and the throttle body becuase I am going to use a cable operated one. I don't plan on using the bcm and body harness becuase I don't have the parts.
Otherwise can the air pump, egr, vats, and rear o2's be deleted out when I have you flash it?
