Default computer tuning

i am swapping an ls1 into a 69 camaro.i was wondering what i should do in the way of computer tuning. i need to remove the emissions equipment, change shift points and do some other odds and ends to the computer. i also plan on adding a cam at a later date. i want to know what you recomend that i use to tune: the predator, the ls1 edit, or should i just take it some where.

Default Re: computer tuning

if you have a laptop and diag software, get ls1edit, your tuning will be endless and you'll be able to get quicker results, not having to wait for mail.
if you don't send it off, although you'll probably end up paying just as much as edit costs.
stay away from all other, predator, etc...
you're doing a custom project, those things are meant for the stock and very lightly modded cars/trucks, not scalable at all.

good luck,

allen
