Default I have a PROBLEM,bad fuel pressure regulator? bad pcm? What!!!

I have installed a LS1 engine in my 93 Typhoon, I just hooked up the wiring harness and ecm, the fuel pump does not cycle, I know it is only to run for a few seconds, but i hear nothing. Looking for the problem, i unpluged the relay, I tested the orange wire it has power, I attached the test light to the grn&white, ecm signal wire, and turned the key on and off, i expected to get a temporary light, i got nothing, so i used a jumper, and went from orange to gray, the pump ran, it shows no fuel pressure, I can hear the fuel running through the line, does the pressure regulator just send it back to the tank if the car does not start? shouldn't i see fuel pressure on the gauge? THANKS

yes you should see pressure at the gauge if you have the gauge up front on the rails. You run the pump you should see pressure. definitely something wrong.

Well i figured out half of my problem!! i loosened the feed line and i had gas so i figured i might have a bad gauge. I removed the gauge and iI still had the shrader valve in it!! i removed it and replaced the gauge. i again jumped the power from orangeto gray and i had 60# fuel pressure. so now i have to figure out the computer side!!

The main things to check would be power to your fuel injectors, and power to the PCM.
