Default Almost done with LS1, i need help, some ??'s

Alright, we got a ton done last night, getting the wiring harness mostly done and and getting all the exhaust, front accesories etc hooked up.

I have some problems though

1) I have my stock corvette fuel line with a NPT male fitting on it. Whats the correct way to attach this to my stock ls1 fuel rail?

2) How do i wire the alternator setup. I have a factory wire that comes from the ignition key that triggers the starter when you turn the key, do i just keep that wire to start the car?

3) How do i wire the alternator? I have a 98 camaro alternator. It has the big post where i stick a cable from the battery to the alternator.
It has a plug in on it (4 or 5 pin) that only has a single tiny wire, that is to activate the alternator right?? Where do i wire this wire to. Do i wire it to a switched 12 volt Positive? that comes on and off with the key??

For the fuel line connection on my car, I used Earl braided hose and fittings. They make a fitting that has a brass crimp band inside it for use on the fuel line. You simply tighten the fitting over the fuel line and it locks on. It looks good too!

Question 3 the single wire in the plug goes to a light on the dash and then to a 12 volt source. This is the stock set up on a Camaro you may or may not elect to have a light on the dash, if you do not you will need a resistor to take the place of the bulb. this will make the alternator last longer.

I looked through my notes and I think the Earl hose fitting for 5/16" aluminum tubing is #165056

I used earls braided hose as well, but Napa sells the fitting to hook to the fuel rail. You can just cut the end off your current line and replace with it. You did run an external regulator right???? You need a return or you will burn out the pump on your C4

1) Ok, So the single wire on the alternator needs a resistor??? is that mandatory or can i just run it straight to a "switched 12+ volt keyed power source" that wire is what turns on the alternator correct? so when i turn the key off it shuts off the alternator.

2)I have a napa real close, looks like i have some work to do to get the fuel rail hooked up.

thanks guys
