LS1 in 91 Vette HI,
Im thinking of installing an LS1 in to my 91 Vette, I have the engine and the with computer and the wiring. What things do in need to get the engine running? I was told that I would need a 3rd party computer like Motec or Haltech?? or can I run it with factory computer? I was also told that I will have engine code problems??
I need help on this !!!

Re: LS1 in 91 Vette You don't need an aftermarket computer. Staying with the factory computer is the BEST way to run these engines!
Having your computer reprogrammed will take care of any issues and concerns on your engine swap. Depending upon what emissions equipment you are planning to use (or eliminate), transmission type, gear ratio, tire size, anti theft, etc., can all be taken care of with reprogramming, for years of trouble free operation.
