97 v6/99Ls1- extra wires from dash?

97 v6/99Ls1- extra wires from dash? I pulled the harness from my 97 v6 through the firewall, but there is a 3rd wire block that isn't on my 99 harness. 99 harness has a blue and a white block that match my 97s, but there is a black 4 pin block on my 97 harness that won't go to the new harness.
Any Ideas, I'm thinking alarm stuff...???

I know what your taking about, my harness had the 3 connectors as well. I am unfamiliar with the LS1 harness though as my engine has yet to come in. I do not know what the wires are for just yet.

Re: 97 v6/99Ls1- extra wires from dash? If that fat purple one is supposed to go to the starter I'm hosed. I'm praying it's either an alarm, ac, or guage cluster thing. Same guage as the data link...purple should be the tcc, vss, or starter/ignition I think according to the pcm pinouts for the ls1. Wish I could find the diagram for a 97 v6 pcm pins, I'd have it then maybe.
