Good info about Autometer guages
I have verified the temp with EFI LIVE and the reading are correct.
Also, for oil pressure you can tap the 2 bolt flange with 1/8 npt tap and use it for your oil pressure guage, or Oil temp guage.

<strong> Just figured I'd share some info with you guys. I found out that you can use an electric sending unit Water temp guage (autometer) with the factory temp sender (98 only). Make sure you use the wire coming out of the sender that DOES NOT go to the computer, use the one that goes to the factory guage.

IronDonut, 98 is the only year that they used a 2in1 style sening unit. One output just for computer and one for guage.

i was just about to install a temp gauge in my car, and i think i'll do it this route.
I was fairly sure that it would work, but was suprised that no resistor was needed to "set" the autometer gauge, and the sending unit really was the same as the autometer styles.
