How do LS1 dash clusters get tach signal?

How do LS1 dash clusters get tach signal? I'm tracing my 99 LS1 harness and have the VSS out.. but what about tach out? I'm not sure whre the LS1 gauge gets that signal from.
I ASSUME it's a white wire that comes from the PCM through the pass side gromet correct?

Re: How do LS1 dash clusters get tach signal? After a little more research, I believe they pull it from the EBCM?..
so it goes from the PCM, to the underhood harness, to the EBCM, then into the dash harness from the driver side.
Can I get confirmation?
