Default 98 PCM swap

Does anybody know of any links / info / person who has put a 99+ PCM into a 98 car (can not find anything in posts/archives)?

I think I understand what you're asking.

Yes, you can swap a 99 PCM into a 98 harness. There are some sensor differences, and you will have to repin the PCM connectors to the 99 layout. There are numerous threads with both sets of pinouts so that you can compare the differences. I know the 98 water temp sensor is different (but compatible, I modified my 98 harness for a 99+ sensor), I believe the crank and cam sensors are the same. TPS, IAC, IAT, MAP should all be the same, input wise.

Contacting Speartech on the boards would be the best choice. He is a phenomonal resource and can get you any parts you may need to do that for a good price; He was a great source for help on my LS1 conversion.

Hope that helps-
