firehawk hood noises???????

hi..not sure if this is the right place to ask:
at first I had a lt1 trans am 93-97 model and now i have the firehawk 98-02 model this hood makes a lot more noise than my former car at high speeds,....some thing like ffffffffffrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... could be the air intake?, but I am not sure if this is normal....could anybody confirm or say any thing,thx

did you change to a high flow filter? they sometimes make loud sucking noises compared to paper elements..
