LS1 Questions

LS1 Questions I am looking to pull an LS1 to possibly install in a project car. One of which I have not sleected yet. I feel as though I'm coming to the pros with these questions, that's why I joined the forum.
1. Is there a difference between the LS1 in a caprice cruiser and an LS1 out of an AM, camaro, corvette?
2. I am real familiar with non-injected engines. I've pulled and swaped them but I never pulled a FI engine. What's needed from the donor LS1 ride?
If you people have links or good write ups at your disposal, please forward them along. Oh and don't bash me to bad, I'm new to this whole deal and I really like to get schooled (in a good way) about this great engine.

im not sure whats in that link. but you would want the entire car. to get the ecu and tranny stuff. the ECU is where its at on the FI cars. good luck with your swap btw...can we ask what its going in?
