06 silverado ??

can anyone tell me if the 06 5.3 uses the same knock sensors as the ls2 or the older ls1 style? looking at doing a ls2 swap.thanks, don

I know the wiring harness is different and not interchangable. I think, but, am not sure on this one. Isn't the valley cover slightly different? Knock sensors might also be different.

What are you trying to do?

Maybe you should take the 06 block and use the earlier LS1 wiring harness. I have an 04 block and 02 harness.

If you want the LS2 electronics im sure you could retrofit somehow.
