ready for LS1 harness...need input
ready for LS1 harness...need input Its time to order the wiring harness for my 86 Silverado LS1 with 4L60E. I need some first hand advice. Nelson Performance has a great price. I plan on getting this project going and adding a supercharger in the near future. Any advice on this would be helpful. Thanks

Well, We have 2 sponsors on the board that wouldprobably do just fine for you. Speartech, who has been here for quite soe time and has helped several people on the forum. Or the newcomer, Speed Scene.
If you are looking for cheap, search around the forum, there have been mentions of some companies that will do stuff for next to nothing, but I don't know anything about the quality or flexability they offer.

Cheap is the last thing I am looking for. I want the harness to be the best one out there. I do want a fair price on it. I dont know if all these companies are selling the same harness(getting them from the same suppiler), or if they are made in house. There again, I need some first hand advice. Thanks

Zac over at Speed Scene did the harness for my 59 Corvette, and I was real happy with their work. The documentation was good, and the engine started on the first crank. I will be using him again on my LS2 powered 65 Corvette.

Thanks,thats several positives. Any input on Nelson Performance or Street & Performance? Lots of differance in $. How much differance in product?
