Will HP tuners remove vats?

Do you have a 6 speeds manual trans or auto? I remember seeing in the manual that the brake switch has something to do with the starter relay. I will double check it tomorow. If that's the case you have to hook up another relay and bypass the brake switch when in remote start mode.

In a LS1 conversion you can do that because the starter isn't controlled by the VATS module anymore. In a LS1 4th gen (even with VATS off), you have to have the resistor mod done to the wiring, or wire the starter direct to the ignition switch.
If you need VATS shut off in the PCM, TSP or any of the mail order tune places can shut it off for a reasonable price if you mail in the PCM.

I have it shut off by hptuners in the pcm. but since I have to wire the resister in anyway does that actually help me?
