Ls1 Headers For G-body? Just Wondering If Anybody Out There Know Of Someone Who Has Headers For 78-87' G-body Cars. Helping My Buddy Put Ls1 In His '87 Monte Carlo, And Before We Make Them, Just Wanting To Know If Someone Has Been There And Done That Already, And Might Have A Set For Sell. Thanks

Hooker Headers I used the F body LS1 ceramic hooker headers. I put them into a 1979 El Camino. The passenger side needed to be hammered on to fit it between the engine and the frame. The drivers side fit well, but the headers exit at an angle toward the drivers side frame rail so you need to do some fancy pipe bending/cutting/welding to get the headers to an angle that is wokable with an x pipe. If you aren't using an x pipe you shouldn't have a problem.
