Default Longtube headers in Stingray corvette

Hey guys, Im putting an lq4 in a 70 vette and would like to use longtubes on it. I was wondering if anybody knew of a solution wehther to use corvette style or fbody headers or if it is safer to go with shorties. Thanks

No off the shelf long tube headers will work fit without some work. 70LS1 is currently massaging a pair for his car and Budman78 is modifying a set of big block headers by adding the LS1 flanges. Your other options are OEM manifolds, custom headers, or shorties. However, the general concensus is that shorty headers are only marginally better than factory manifolds. That said, I have F-body manifolds on my car but someday I want to have custom headers built.
