what headers will work?

what headers will work? I am putting an ls1 into my 68 firebird and want to find a decent pair of headers for a decent price. I know there are street and performance and stainless works. anything cheaper than this.
Also has anybody kept their 350tranny in the first gen swap. Anything special to know about? I already have the TCI flexplate. how far will I have to move the crossmember?

hooker makes a set now in mild steel for about $500, a member of this forum has some on order, no news yet on exact fitment.. I modified a set of '02 camaro offroad pacesetters pretty easily, and shorties are always available. There is, as of now, no "DECENT" price on swap headers for the first gen...
