Default Pics: 92 TA vert swap, 99% finished

Just a few finished pics. Took forever on the ram-air box. Its part old radiator cover, part RAII hood kit, and part LS1 whisper lid. A bunch of fiberglass later it's finished.

The fuel rail covers will be smoothed and painted body color, I surprisingly only had to trim a bit by the throttle cables. I might get a new one as I didn't need to trim as much as I did.

Be sure to notice the 4th gen cruise, overflow, washer tank, and wiring.. Still need to get AC hoses done. I really didn't enjoy ripping a big hole in the RA1 hood, but there's a wide open path to the filter now. There's foam on the hood that seals the back side from engine air.

Thanks for all the direct and indirect help in getting it done.

Kevin D.

As you can see, I've got a while to go on the interior..

awesome! Looks great. Once it's completely put together and cleaned, post more pics! What brake distribution block is that you're using?

As this stage, the only hard part was getting the HVAC controls hooked up. A couple of bends on the main dash tabs and they bolt to the third-gen brackets and most of the upper bolts line up with existing holes. All the wiring was simple, well it's simple since I'm using the entire body harness from the 4th gen. The HVAC cable is completely different, I had to modify the hot/cold door to accept the 4th gen cable and then had to move the control mounting point 2" further back.

The 'fun' part is going to be molding the two a-pillar pieces together and finishing up the door panels.

Olly, the brakes has the master from the 4th gen and the proportioning valve from the 3rd gen.
