Those are indeed pretty, but not much use to someone who is not able to use the low mount A/C.

I have the high passenger side A/C Mount from S&P that works with the rest of the F-Body accesories. It fit's nice, they sent me the wrong belt and are sending a replacement. But damm it was expensive. I asked March about a similar mount and they said they think theirs would work with the stock accesories but would not guarantee it.

I had some S&P pulleys on an ls1 car that i was racing, I had problems with them breaking - ended up going to the factory setup. Cost me a lot of money in lost races (and parts)

May not be an issue for a show car.

in that case, id highly recommend one of the OEM setups.. not as pretty, but much stronger, and tested thru a very rigorous QA process...
unless im missing something, if that setup above fits your car, the OEM one should..

well any one the set ups will fit the car, part of the reason for that is the car will be built around the engine and transmission

is this going to be a "show" car too?
if not, i would stick to the OEM brackets.. ive only messed with two aftermarket LS1 setups, but ive messed with alot of aftermarket SBC brackets.. none of them have been perfectly reliable.
with the hour long sustained high RPM your car is going to see, id stick with the OEM stuff..

im not saying the aftermarket stuff wont work, im just saying id feel like i have added safety against throwing the belt with it compared to the aftermarket stuff.

the only thing id add is Katech has a non-spring loaded tensioner... id put one of thoes on it, and call it good..

So the car will get beat on unmercifully.
Go with OEM or something with a racing pedigree. S&P looks nice, but are fragile and you will break them or throw belts due to flex under racing conditions.

Thanks for the pix, that's a sweet setup for sure! I just ordered an S&P low & tight A/C kit for my 'vette motor to help it fit in my '47 Ford. I really want the factory look, so I'll prolly dupe the S&P brackets in steel and just sell the polished kit...
