Default Converter Louckup/Unlock?

Didn't even think about this till just now. My 200R with a 400 has a simple dual brake switch that unlocks the converter, is the 4L60E the same? Looking at the wiring for the donor car it looks like it was a couple switches related tpo the brake pedal. One I'm guessing is to unlock the converter, another to disable cruise, and the other obviously for the brake lights. The 2004R was simple because thats the only electronic function that that trans has. What are you guys doing to get the converter to unlock under braking?

In the harness I got from Speartech there is a wire that goes to a normally closed part of the dual pole brake switch. When the brakes are applied, the circuit opens, removing the voltage from the wire and the lock-up disengages. Sounds like a similar set to your 200R4.

Yep just what stu cool said, that is how all the GM factory harnesses work, constant 12volts with the ignition on and then cuts the 12V when you depress the brake. If it is a 99-02 f-body harness it is the white connector 220 pin D ppl wire (Pin 33 at pcm)

98 f-body connector 230 pin H Lt blu/blk

Trucks also pin 33 at pcm, and a purple wire, it was on a black 14 pin connector on my harness
