3rd Gen Tach - Strange Problem
3rd Gen Tach - Strange Problem Tweaking and tuning on this ride. Has about 1,000 miles on it since the swap and man it's fun to drive. Anyway, on to the issue.
Doing some WOT pulls and logging data on HPT. Trying to watch the road, guages and laptop all at once which is fun in itself. Noticed that occasionally the tach looks like it just looses it's signal and drops to zero. Doesn't happen every time but when it does it's normally up at higher RPM (above 5K). It'll drop down to zero, pause and then pick back up.
Anyone ever seen this type problem before or have any guesses where to start? I've already checked the connectors I made up when wiring in the swap, everything looked good there. Also checked all the grounds that I could remember and find.
