Default Lifting points

I want to remove the engine and trans as one unit. Besides using a lift bracket that mounts in the intake valley what are the best pick up points to attach a chain to for engine removal with a hoist?
Thanks
Pete

I lifted my engine and trans together, just like if it was a GEN I SBC. I put a chain on a diagonal across the heads from the front passenger side to the rear drivers. I bolted it on with the EGR---head bolt in the front and used an empty bolt hole in the back. Just watch out if you have limited firewall clearance, I put it in and then had 3/4" of room in the back to get the 3/4" long bolt out Oh yeah almost forgot I had to use a spreader bar to keep it from hitting the intake manifold, I had a piece of 2x2 square tube laying around so I put that on the chain about 6" above the intake and used that to hold the chains apart so they didn`t contact the manifold.
