PCM pin removal
The tools have part numbers from SGTT1 to SGTT6. Which one is the correct one and how do I use it? I poked around with a few of them but was not able to figure out how to remove the pin and i didn't want to cause any damage so I stopped for now.
I think I wrote something on how to do it on my homepage (page 4 I think)
from what I can remember, pull the gray plastic covers off.... next depress the white tabs on the connector ( they are on the opposite side of the red & blue cases) there are also black tabs on the sides that you need to push in. With the tabs pushed in, push the bulkhead that holds all the wires in....it will only go so far. Next remove the red and blue cases by depressing the tabs that are on the sides.
with the cases out, it will look like piano keys....gently lift up the white tab while pulling on the wire you want to remove.....be gentle....it does not take much to get the pin out.
Hope that helps.
