It seems that after spending some time on this forum I want to try cramming an ls1 into just about everything now. Random cars I see on the road, in magazines, tv etc. Its kind of addicting I guess.

I'm the same way! I'm doing a Chevelle right now. I would also love to do a dragster, boat, integra, vega/monza, and others...

I wonder an ls1 would fit in an ATV, or maybe a Jetski. That would be one fast PWC, lol. But, it would a LOT be fun.

I'd like to put one in a Z roadster BMW (M model of course) and call it a Z350.

I have been saving the 350/T350 I pulled out of my Studeabker thinking I would put it into something else, but now it seems I have little interest in doing that! I keep thinking of looking for a 50s or 60s truck to put a 5.3 or 6.0 into. Then I could sell my 01 Silverado!

in my case it got so bad that every time some one talks about a car , my friends look at me and say "why don't you put an ls1 in it?"

so far i've convinced my self that my next project will be stuffing an ls1 into one of the following:

hyundai tiburon
porsche 911
my 78 international harvester scout II
one of those small suzuki vans
a vey old toyota mini pickup truck
nissan sylvia
3 series bmw
a frame rail with a diff welded to it
hyundai accent
my old 95 dodge ram
grand cherokee

now i just have to figure out what order i should start these projcts.
my grand scheme is to have an assembly line for putting ls1's into anything .... muahahahahah

ok i think i said too much....

wow....that is alot of swaps in one year.

I know that the LS1 is a great engine but I wonder why it has become such a popular candidate to swap into other cars. The gen 1 and Lt1 small blocks have been swapped into cars but not as much as the ls1. hell..you don't even see that many new hemis or viper v10s swapped into older cars.

can't wait to finish my swap and see what the LS1 fuss is all about.

I have always thought about swapping a ls1/t56 into a 98-03 grand prix and making it rear wheel drive.I prolly will never do it but I love this cars and would be nice to have one with a v8, manual trans and rwd
