low refrence

low refrence

what does that mean?i look at the pinouts on the computer and it says " low refrence" is that like 5 volts ?

Any help on this I was looking at the pin out and noticed it as well. I will try to track down those harness wires this afternoon.

Low reference usually means ground. The system operates in two states. Low and high. Low is ususally ground and high would either be 5V or 12V depending on the circuit.

What year PCM and what pins are we talking about?

C1
23 - Sensor Ground
53 - Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor Ground
80 - Fuel Level Sensor Ground
C2
57 - IAT Sensor Ground

thanks man.... i tried, to no luck, all yesterday to find that info.... i used alldata.com, chilton, asked a few local people , and even asked autozone (o yes,,, it got that bad)
so how did you find it??? im very thankful
