LS1 on engine stand

LS1 on engine stand Built alot of cast iron blocks on engine stands but this is my first aluminum. should I get an engine cart or will it hold up on an engine stand by the 4 bell housing bolts? Got to tear it down to paint for install into 67 malibu with 6 speed gear box.
when i bought my motor (LS1) it had been on an engine stand for almost a year with all the brackets ,accessories and full of oil. i also have it on a stand right now. doesn't seem to affect it at all.
SHouldn't have any problem with an engine stand just make sure and get as many threads into the block as you can. Good luck with your project I will keep my eye on it since I am doing a 67 Chevelle myself.
