Stock fuel pump 12v wire
Stock fuel pump 12v wire I am using the stock tank and fuel pump for my conversion, however I need to find the 12v wire to test the pump.
There are the following wires on one conenctor/plug:
BLK
GRY/BLK
BLK/WHT
GRY
GRN/BLK
PUR
ORG
Then there's the following on the other plug/connector, I think this is for the Evap canister purge solenoid - Not using any emission so this should not be used:
RED
WHT
Also how would you connect a relay? I have one wire coming from the PCM that's labeled Fuel Pump RLY CTRL should this wire be connected to #86 or #85 on the Relay?

to wire the fuel pump relay....you should have switched power going to #85, the Fuel Pump RLY CTRL from ECM going to #86 (as it is a ground signal), 12v going to #30, and the 12v output to Fuel Pump going to #87. #85 and #86 could be switched....it doesnt really matter which way the current flows...as long as one is switched power and one is ground from ECM.
I found the wires that needed to test the fuel pump, there is a Grey wire which is 12v and a black ground wire, these when connected to the battery the pump will start running.

ah crap....my mind was thinking right...but my words went out wrong...yes the ECM is 12v and the other side is ground. Thats what i was trying to get across when i said 85 and 86 can be either way as long as one is 12v and one is ground. thanks for catching my brain malfunction.
