Not to be your mom or any thing but concrete can crack with no warning. Especially with the edges of the jack dish concentrating pressure like that.
It is a simple matter to cut some wood blocks. Almost no reason not to do so.

a guy I work with had a trailer on cement blocks, the thing was sitting like that for days. He was under it pulling on something and one of the blocks broke and then the whole thing came down on him. Fire dept lifted it off him, and he got a helicopter ride, then weeks in a hospital.
broke his hip, and both of the thigh bones (femor? not sure).
anyhow, took a 45-50 year old guy who was in pretty good shape, and made him old. he walked with a cane for about 2 years, and now, 15 years later, he still doesn't walk well.
any cement/brick may crumble, and suddenly let go, and the other supports may shift by the sudden load.
use wood, it doesn't break like that, and everyone has 2x4 hanging around...

come on guys...hahaha...this was 4 years ago...hahaha...i got bigger jack stand now....and a bigger floor jack too...but yeah...thanx for the concern...even tho it's 4 years late...heheheh...

damn...the intake manifold is touching my newly fabbed firewall...the hood closes with one finger space left...hopefully the motor is str8 to where the tranny can go in...if not i gotta yank it out and beat the shiet outta it so it'll fit correctly....
