sorry, i have to disagree with you.i have used a factory harness and 2 aftermarket harnesses and i would use a factory one anyday of the week over a made one. i think its easier.
I'm somewhat with him. Wiring isnt for everyone and having one made might be the better option in the long run. If you do get one made, go with Speartech, I've heard nothing good about his work. Now if you can read wiring diagrams, hook-up a relay or two, solder and heatshrink, then you should be alright. There is more than enough info on this site and elsewhere to get a harness squared away. I did mine three years ago with all the info from the net. I've got about $10 and the time in it.
Also, for the original poster, www.Thirdgen.org will have some good specific info for your Camaro swap. Good luck.
yup it is good info, I have a question to add, Im not that good about all this wirring problems, but I have an engine and an Auto tranny from a Camaro 98' and im doing my swap on a 240sx, I already have everything from a 98 model camaro... what problems will I face? and Where can I get wirring diagrams and Pinouts for my ECU from?!
I am attempting to use a 02 silverado harness in a LS1 swap into a 95 Z-28. I noticed a color difference on the #4 injector. I know it is the same injector but the wire color looked different. This is the first time I have attempted this so I feel a little paranoid.....I also noticed and extra sensor clip at the end of the even side fuel injector harness. I assume i could just wire that into the modded harness?
