Here is a really stupid question 
Last night I finally got the last part I needed for the fuel system. Got everything hooked up and tried to start the beast. No joy. This was around 11 last night, so my mind wasn't really working all that well. Anyway, after thinking about it last night, I realized that neither the MAP or MAF sensors were hooked up. 
Will a 5.3l start without those two sensors? I suspect no, actually, I hope the answer is no. I checked for spark and fuel pressure, and both checked out fine. If it will start without those sensors, then I am thinking the injectors are gummed up from sitting...
