Would any LS-1 or any other gen III V8 fit into an S-10? I'm considering doin a swap on mine.

they use an adapter plate to move the sbc mount, theoretically you could bolt on sl1 adapter plates and then bolt on the s-10 adapters to the ls1 adapters and it should drop right in. just you would have the mounts about 3/8 of an inch off from where there should be . so you might have to oblong the hole in the frame mount that the sbc motor mount bolts to.......

actually now that i thiunk about it...... my old s-10 adapter plates also where the motor mounts and the hole in them had a little fudge room. so they might just drop right in (of course after you bolt on the ls1 to sbc plates that is)
