RWD Conversion I've been searching for sometime through threads researching my options. I'm planning to do a RWD conversion on a 4dr sedan. I'd like to thank the mods for making the "Who done it" thread a sticky as it has helped answer some things I haven't figured out or thought of yet. BTW, the sedan is not a GM product.
What I'm trying to determine now is:
The overall size(HxWxD) of the LS1-7 motors.
What accessory drive is th closest to the block. I think it's of the F-bodies.
And the dimensions of the T56 tranny.

for Chevy engine size, try this url:

the Corvette Accessory would be the closest to the Block, can not mix and match.
T56 Dimensions: it is a Retro one, but should be in the ball park.

Caddilac CTS-V access drive is supposed to be the most compact. Uses the same block offset as the C5, but with a tighter arrangement (supposedly). Haven't had my hands on the CTS-V parts, so I can't say for certain.
