idiot lights?
idiot lights? I'm putting a Covan's 6-hole instrument cluster and a nice set of gauges in my '68 Camaro during the LS1 swap. I need to add some indicators lights for turn signals, brake, alternator, and MIL. Most people seem to use plain LEDs or lamps for these, but I'd like to find something that'll actually be labeled for the warning lights, and maybe arrow-shaped for the turn signals. Anyone seen something like this? I remember seeing them in the JC Whitney catalog 20 years ago, but they don't seem to have them anymore. Or any other suggestions?
I haven't decided what to put in the 6th hole yet... volts? vacuum/boost? (not blown yet, but maybe someday...) AFR?
Engine, trans, headers, and mount plates show up tomorrow
. Crossmember, FPR, fittings, and steering box won't be here until next week, but I still need to get the pan modified anyway.

how about oil temp (if you have a cooler)
when I build the gauge cluster for my 01, I cut the plastic "overlay" from the stock gauge cluster and put them over the lights in the new cluster. if you look REALLY close you can see what I did but since its black on black, nobody would ever know....

Thats they way I would do it, you could check a self serve junkyard if you want to look for a large selection of pre labeled plastic lenses 
82 to 89 camaros all have these nice colored, labled "Service Engine Soon" film pieces... black when off.. amber when on. same with the ( BRAKE! ) one... they wont work for the turn signals.
