Default 2004 ecm harness mods.....

I see in the LS conversion listing guides for doing up to an 02 harness but I have a harness and ecm from an 04 Tahoe(a complete pullout I intend to procharge so the iron motor was the ticket for me) The info on wiring and pins is great but I'm just wondering if there was a huge change between 02 and 04 as far as input/outputs for the ecm's. I'm not going to use the 4L60 but will be doing a th350 with a gear vendors OD to avoid breaking things. Thanks for any help....... oh, and the 4L60 will be for sale. 8k miles, no torque arm provisions.

I don`t know if there is much of a difference between the 02 and 04 wiring. I don`t have wiring diagrams for an 04 so I have not done any kind of write up for one yet. GM usually keeps their stuff the same unless they really have to change something, so most of the wiring should be the same, but you will probably need wiring diagrams to figure out for sure if anything changed.

thanks, yea I was going to pull up the harness and pins on alldatapro but thought I'd ask the educated folks here first. Looks like it might be interesting to say the least. Easier to do a carb swap but I really like the efi too.

no problem with the hijack at all. If it helps you, it might help me or someone else as well and that's what it's all about. Hopefully someone will come up with some good stuff and we can both get on with the motor thrash!
