Sorry to be the one to say it, but i think you all acted like children.....from the moment there was the problem with the wiring and the driver started throwing a fit in the car hitting the steering wheel and roof all the way to the end of the show, i would not have expected any different from you guys in this thread. Crying "NO!!!! Do no accept that......You didn't spend 30 hrs. building it......we did!!!!!" I had to agree with Rich that you guys would have been ok no matter what because the damn Mustang could barely make it down the track. I'll respect the amount of effort that went into the build and i think it's nice to see an LS1 in any type of vehicle even if it's done by a bunch of elementery school kids.......You guys claim in this thread that you did this for your own publicity.......Well all i have to say is i'm glad i'm from texas and don't have to worry about any of your shops because after that show you would NOT be getting any of my business.

hey i'm not trying to be rude, just state the obvious......you guys can't say you didn't act like babies......granted the rednecks with the Mustang didn't act much better.....but they're not the ones fighting amongst themselves on the internet either. Even Rich got tired of you guys and threatened to award the car to the other guys because you cried too much. Did anyone else see that or was it just me?

I haven't seen the episode yet... but i'm sure i will in the next day or two.

I will say that i fully understand the pressure ya'll were under, i've been there myself, which ironically enough... that was my race they were using as there intro.

We too were under a hell of a time crunch, made some good choices in design, and some bad ones... it's just the nature of being under a deadline and the pressure of knowing millions of people will see what your doing.

I also know that if any of you guys were friends prior to starting all this, i highly encourage you all to go out one night to a bar, get alot of beer, and bury this ****... it's not worth losing friends over. And i'm definately speaking from experience on that one since i only talk to 1-2 guys from my group still, and i regret that.

From what i saw of ya'lls video though, i would have much rather run that mustang than the monte i got stuck with... looked like it had more trouble getting down the strip than we did lol.

yeah i hate that i missed the show since i got down the to airing late...but i been hearing alot of ppl talkin **** on the pittspeed crew. calling us whinny babies and such.... i'm gonna have to see the show before i can truely comment but for anyone that wasnt there in that situation...how can u judge the crew's actions??? how would u feel if you spent all that time, money, hard work, effort, etc on that project car to drive down there to be disqualified cuz a damn fuse broke.... what luck!! ofcourse you'd be very frustrated... racing is competition and for pinks its even more competitive....

Well all i have to say is i'm glad i'm from texas and don't have to worry about any of your shops because after that show you would NOT be getting any of my business
you have no idea what work they are capable of... they do some great work and are some great ppl.... ur out of your mind to accept any less quality work from somewhere else

never questioned the quality of their work.......never even implied that........if you're referring to the "elementery kids" remark, that was in reference to their behavior, not workmanship......i could tell from looking at their pictures they do quality work, i'd just rather give my hard-earned money to GOOD people that do GOOD work than people that act like that (not very professional at the very least). All they did was talk crap, whine, and cry.......which under ordinary circumstances (like the cars being evenly matched) i could have maybe let it slide......but anyone who saw that episode knows the Mustang was not even capable of competing, i mean the damn thing caught fire 3 out of 5 runs. If there had not been any question as to whether or not their driver left early a couple of times, there would never have been the need for 5 runs.

yeah i hear yah on that.... quik is a good racer with good reaction times... from what i seen of other homevideo footage it looked too close to call. i dont think he left early..i think he did fine

but they are good ppl. the stress of that event brought out what u saw..it happens when you have competitive ppl in a situation like that. they are all hardcore enthusiasts
