For my '73, all I did was cut off the LS1 nut on the pressure line and installed an inverted flare nut for my 73 Box... and then cut the LS1 return line and hose clamped the rubber line to my return nipple on the 73 box.
That will work. I had few posts on what I did on my Chevelle.
What I did was pickup a Russell 0-ring to AN Adapters for the LS1 Pump and use Inverted Flare to AN on the Box, then used some of the Russell AN fitting with some of their Teflon lined SS braided hose for power steering systems.
