Default should i feel special?

i've been having nothing but a hard time trying to deal with Hinson to get my harness back and it's really killing me not having it.

i called him originally on august 18th to inquire about him doing my harness since speartech was pretty backed up and i needed it done quickly. i was told 8-10days turnaround time including shipping since he's in AL and i'm in GA. i promptly shipped it on aug 21st, it was delivered to his shop on the 22nd per UPS. after 8 business days had passed i called to inquire about the status of the harness, and he had no idea my harness was even there. apparently a shop worker stashed it away somewhere so he hadn't known to work on it. i didn't get mad, just let him know of his original timeframe and that he needed to get on it. two days later called again, still hadn't started on it. it was promised to be shipped out friday of last week via USPS to hopefully make it to me on saturday, but if not then it should have shown today. as you may have guessed, the mailman came and went and no package in sight . on top of these woes, the shop is closed all week for some hot rod event and i can't get a hold of anyone to make sure it was at least shipped.

just had to get that off my chest. i hate being strung along on things, i just want an honest answer and i don't feel i've gotten one at all. the car has to be done before thursday because i'm driving in a big drift demo at the nopi nationals show and there are some decent sponsorships riding on it that i'm feeling like i'm going to miss out on. this crap has been eating at my brain all week

thanks for listening.... or reading, sorry for the rant.

honestly there is the reason why i havent done buisness with hinson people. On top of some of their outragous pricing for 240 mount kit. Which lowers the subframe 2 inchs (bad bad bad for suspension geometry.)

x2. Their prices are outrageous. Lowering the sub frame, big no no your front end now hates you. Wiring in the harness was easy as 1-2-3. I had a harder time wiring in my RB25DET than my LS1. Whats was so hard about wiring in 6 power leads and a fuel pump relay? I know how you feel, I just missed an annual local car forums BBQ that had hundreds of cars in because my engine spun a bearing. But in your case you have possible sponsors watching your car so time in money. I never would have sent it to hinson in the first place. After you knew they stashed it (which I think is BS and bought them time) I would have known it would take atleast a month to do. Im sorry man but Hinson popped in to advertise their kit (which they werent even sponsors of LS1tech) and popped back out once the news was out they had a 240 kit. Honestly I think my kit is better as well as everyone elses here. Atleast the subframes arent 2"s lower

i'm having to agree with you. i unfortunately sent it off to him before i found the wiring diagrams online but i figured i'd bite the bullet and just have them do that so i can worry about other details. man i was wrong!

anyone here have a 99-02 harness they want to trade for an already converted one (whenver it happens to arrive)?
