ALT Light for '02 harness?

ALT Light for '02 harness? I have an '02 LS1 from a Camaro SS that I am currently do the wiring for. I have got the C100, C101, C105, C220 & C230 connectors from a donor car and I am using them to connect everything to the old cars system.
What I am curious about is how do I get my Alternator Light to hook up. There is no provision for that in the connectors.
My alternator has one small wire that is part of the engine harness and I guess that one is for monitoring the alternator from the PCM.
Did the 99-02 cars have this controlled through the BodyComputer and the PCM just sent signals to it for various instrument functions?
Can I just slice in a wire on tha ALT connector and get a Alternator light working?

The alternator on the 99-02`s is controlled by the PCM. The red wire from the connector on the alternator should run to pin 15 on the red (C2) computer connector. If you want to make your alt light work you can disconnect the wire from the computer and run it to the alt light. The other side of the alt light must be run to an ignition + source, in a 69 camaro it is probably already set up like that but double check it anyway. You may also have to delete some alt codes from the PCM so you don`t get a check engine light.
