Rubber shifter boot?

Rubber shifter boot?
I assume this is a factory piece. Does anyone know the part number? Are the T56 guys using one?
I want to have as good a seal as possible around the shifter.

I don't have an answer to your question, but I will just add that the bottom of those don't look as nice (ill try and post a pic of the one i have) They seem like they are sized to mate to a very unique floor pan and at least on my camaro the tunnel area is much smaller and tighter radius. It may work, I haven't gotten that far yet, but I'm thinking of finding something like what is on my honda, a leather very pliably piece. the stock one you are showing is rubber.

I will be using the Camaro center console so the rubber boot would be under it to seal everything up. Does the bottom of the rubber boot have some sort of metal ring in it?
This was my test fit pic:

Im pretty sure those are on all M6 cars... I used the one from the 99 donar car for my 87 Swap. THe metal ring can be shaped to fit your tunnel. And its held in place with 7 or 8 screws. I used some RTV around mine to seal it up. I wanted it there to keep noise down and to keep water out.

There are a couple different pieces in the GM manual. I have a Pro-5.0 so I don't know if the second on will fit, but it would help keep crap out of the shifter.
Shift Control Shift Closeout Boot
Shift Control Boot
Just called GM and they said $52 each, didn't get the part numbers.
