Flexplate covers for auto transmissions
Flexplate covers for auto transmissions I just purchased the covers from SDPC which fits where the starter goes and on the opposite side of the engine. These spots had a big opening where the flexplate could be seen. I have seen in some searches that some people have had a hard time finding these. I'll post the pt# for them so people can get them right from the dealer, very cheap too. Payed a total of $17.50 shipped, cheap compared to a salvage yard that I won't name that wanted $40.00 
Anyways, here are the numbers 092057931 cover $3.87, 092091837 cover $3.48, 092138321 bolt(1 for each side) $1.81 Hope this helps.

I don't know about that, we always put them back on, you never know what could fly up there. No reason to take them off. Not like theres a HUGE weight savings gain.
