im having a problem with my car randomly dying out. I thought i fixed it once when i replaced a fusible link that was a little melted, but it keeps happening. i'll be cruising along normally, hit 3k rpm or higher, and suddenly it cuts out, ses light kinda flickers, and it goes down to 500rpm and back up or just dies altogether. it is then hard to start, but if i mash the throttle a few times it'll come back to life. i was racing an 06 mustang gt tonight, right from the light, as soon as the engine got some load on it, it conked out, down to 500rpm, then pulled hard second gear (got next to the mustang that was 3 cars ahead, haha) then died again, revving a tiny bit, then down again. it really sucks.

could it be that i ported my TB stop too much and it's screwing it up? the tach and stuff go crazy when it happens, too. if anyone could help me out, throw me some tips, etc.. i'd appreciate it.
(oh, the headlights flicker with the RPM's, and the alt is pushing out 14V at idle and about 17V at speed. dunno if thats related or not.)
