exhaust for 70 full-size Chev I am putting a 6litre/4L80E combo in a '70 Impala and I am wondering what kind of headers will fit. Does anyone have an idea? I would prefer long tube headers but realize I may have to go with whatever fits; I do not think I can afford to have headers custom-made. I have heard that headers for a Chevy Big Block are not that different from headers for an LS engine (basically that cutting/replacing the flange to adjust the distance between the exhaust ports of the cylinder heads would do it). Is this true, is this a route I should investigate?
Also, does anyone know if manifolds from a Corvette (which flow pretty well) would fit?

The Z06 mainfolds have shown that they flow well. They will not fit my subframe darn it. Big block Chevy and also Ford headers have the same port spacing and just need the flanges changed. Several people on the site have done this.
