LSX conversion - harness info What kind of harness are you guys using for the PCM? Painless offers one but its >500, I'd imagine a 2000+ F-body harness would work fine, how much do they usually go for...
I am using a Speartech Custom Harness made for my car. I love it, everything labled, includes the 4 fuse box for power control and the Fuel relay. Truly plug and play, he also reprogrammed my ECM to my specs. The motor fired and ran on the first try has worked great for about 2000 miles now. Custom harness was about $800, worth it in my opinion. A stock harness goes for $200-300 if you can find one, then you have to modify it. You can do this your self if you know what you are doing or are adventurous. There are also folks out there doing stock harness mods. Speartech was doing them, but not sure if he still is. Price varies on that depending on what they do for you. Read the stickys at the top of the page for more harness info. What are you planning on putting the motor in?
