Fuel pumps/regulators- carb feeds
Ls1 (mild cam, std heads) into a mid engine kit car. Carb conversion using Edelbrock 7118 performer manifold and 4 barrel carb. the fuel tank will be custom made, and can be specc'd with outlet and return connections to suit whatever fittings/hose size i need.
carb is going to be a Barry Grant demon 650cfm, mech secondaries.
tank sits right behing bulkhead of car and is very close to pump/filter and regulator positions, so fuel pipe lengths will be minimal. car is to be used on track, not road driven
been advised so far to go with a decent spec pump/filter and reg, with -10 feed and -8 return to tank from regulator. that sounds quite a large hose/fitting size though to me?
after some thoughts if poss from anyone running carb conversion as to what pump size etc you used and any probs?
