Alternator help

Alternator help I am just about finished with my notch/ls1 swap. I am using a f-body alternator but am using a custom wiring harness (carb setup) and need info on wiring the alternator. Might sound like a dumb question, but it has 1 main wire and has a harness connector up top that looks like 4 wires..?? Any help will be appreciated, Thanks guys.

These two sites have alot of good information. I used them when I installed a 140 amp alternator in my 99 blazer. It puts out 100 amps at idle where the stock alternator put out 60. These sites explain how the different sensing wires get hooked up when you change the alternator's vehicle applications. It helps when doing conversions
