70 Chevelle SS So an old buddy of mine has a Chevelle and I have been wanting one. I went over to his house to ask him how much he wanted for it. And he said its your I have the title we'll move it out once it gets warmer. I don't know the original specs. Can someone look at the tag and tell me the specs on it???

looks like a 70,,,, SS I don't know. Just remember "Free Tickets" are never cheap. Looks like a donor car at best. Put a few bucks together and you can find something in much better shape.

Chevelles.com has a trim tag section on their forum and would be able to decode as much as possible.
Good luck on the project and it is good to see someone letting it go to be put on the rather than holding on to a project that will rust away before being completed. If it is a New Mexico car it maybe fairly solid.

Rip the rear seat out and look on the back for a piece of paper(its pretty small, if its even there! The mice might have ate it or owner removed it)
If it is infact there, post a pic of it and I can tell you the options. Also, theres another one hidden inbehind the backing material of the front seats.
