Default temp sender thread sealer ques.

quick question. I fabbed up an adaptor for my temp gauge, pulled the pass. side plug out and going to send it in. could i get away with just using a good thread sealent like plumbers blue blok since it is considered straight(non-tapered) thread??????? or try to find a copper 12mm gasket?

good point, I was going to use the sealer near the top for the seal, in the sticky I think Olly used Permatex thread sealer.
